Walking on cobblestones...
The
Chinese for centuries have walked on cobblestones as a way to improve
their health. Now Western scientists have tested the theory and
found for people more than 60 years old walking on smooth, rounded
cobblestones for 30 minutes a day for four months can significantly
lower blood pressure and improve balance. The reason may be an
improvement in the body’s balance system within the inner ear.
