Fancy boots
After studying abroad in Italy, I came home with a large collection of boots in all shapes, sizes and styles. I love wearing them, but they began to get damaged in the corner of my closet. The tops of the boots would slouch over and fall, creating a crease near the ankle. When I took a pair to the cobbler for a heel repair, I asked him what storage tricks he knew. He suggested two: You can stuff your boots with newspaper to keep them standing upright. Or you can hang your boots from a hanger, using clips. I chose the newspaper method, due to my lack of closet space. It keeps my boots standing tall, and my closet looks more tidy!
