Find a Farmer's Market ...
I love going to my local farmer’s market, because I’m able to find the freshest produce, meat, cheese and even wine. It’s fun to build a rapport with your local farmers and a good way to spend your Saturday mornings. Yet when I was visiting my mom, I wasn’t sure where to find the closest farmer’s market. After doing a little research on the Internet, I discovered a great database at the Local Harvest website, www.localharvest.org. Look there for locations and times of farmer’s markets nearest to you – wherever you are! They also have tons of items that you can mail order.
